I have been struggling with any Vista update (i.e. security and regular updates) since some time in December. Does anybody else has similar problems? I get error code 800F0826.
Microsoft provides some information regarding this error, check here - haven't had time yet to go through their solutions though.
Also, loading Vista takes longer than usual and I have a blank screen for a minute before the login screen appears.

Apparently, Vista update KB942763 is causing the problem - at least this is the earliest update which failed. I get a different error code for that: 80070643. However, this code seems to refer to some Office update problems - but I don't even have MS Office installed...
I found that this error might be related to the Comodo firewall which I use, see here, however, I' always had Defense+ deactivated, hence at least in my case this can't be the cause of the problem.

Ok, first off, cool site. I have never tried to create a dvd from an avi before and you have some great guides here. I followed the AVI2DVD guide, then the DVDshrink guide, then the imgBurn guide.
I started with an HD AVI 1.9GB it was a bit too big for DVD so i used shrink at like 94% then burned it.
The video came out choppy and the sound was like in slow motion! What did I do wrong?

am i allowed to take a auto insurance business to small claims court? The insurer supplier turned down my claim, (I would take the to blame driver to small claims but I've no address to serve them or send a demand letter). The additional driver was at fault but his particular insurer states that there is really a difference in your claims so they have to take the word of their insured vs. my word. It looks like they acted in bad trust and did not perform a proper investigation would this certainly be a valid claim in small claims court? I want to have some at fault drivers insurance provider (not my own) to small claims to the damages to my car.
